How Our Sizing Works

All service prices are based on the size of your pet, so it helps to know where your dog or cat falls before booking. Cats are all one size. For dogs, a Small Dog is about the size of a Chihuahua—small enough to hold in the palm of your hand. A Medium Dog, like a Shih Tzu, is one you can comfortably pick up. A Large Dog, such as a Labrador, is too big to lift from the floor. An Extra-Large Dog, like a Bernese Mountain Dog, is big enough that kids can almost ride it like a pony.

How Long Does Grooming Take?

Grooming time depends on the services you choose and your pet’s coat. For a dog around 50 lbs, a full grooming session typically takes one to two hours. Thicker coats, matting, or add-on services like teeth cleaning or nail trimming can extend that time. If you’re not sure how long your pet’s session will take, our groomers are happy to give you a more accurate estimate based on your pet’s specific needs.

What Happens After You Book

Once you submit your request through our AI booking system, we’ll match you with a groomer near you and confirm your appointment details, including date, time, and estimated pricing based on your pet’s size and the services selected. If you have special requests—like a specific cut, sensitive skin, or anxiety around grooming—let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
